UPVC Pipes & Fittings

Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (UPVC)

UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes and fittings are widely used in plumbing and construction due to their excellent strength, durability, and chemical resistance. Unlike PVC pipes, UPVC pipes do not contain plasticizers, making them more rigid and suitable for demanding environments. Here is a description of commonly used UPVC pipes and fittings:

UPVC Pipes

UPVC pipes are rigid, lightweight, and non-conductive, used for transporting fluids such as water, chemicals, and gases. These pipes are strong and resist rust well, making them good for both above-ground and underground use. Available in various sizes and classes, UPVC pipes accommodate different pressure ratings.

UPVC Couplings

UPVC couplings are connectors used to join two UPVC pipes in a straight line. They have socket ends that fit over the pipe ends and a central section that connects and secures them, providing a reliable and leak-proof connection.

UPVC Elbows

UPVC elbows are fittings used to change the direction of a pipe. With a curved shape, typically at a 90-degree angle, they allow the pipe to turn in a different direction. Available in different angles, such as 45 degrees and 90 degrees, UPVC elbows fit different plumbing setups and ensure smooth flow of fluids.

UPVC Tees

UPVC tees have three openings, allowing the connection of three pipes. Their T-shaped design includes one inlet and two outlets at right angles to each other, commonly used to create branch connections or to split the flow of fluids in multiple directions.

UPVC Reducers

UPVC reducers connect pipes of different diameters. With one end having a larger diameter and the other a smaller diameter, they facilitate a smooth transition between pipe sizes, ensuring efficient flow and a secure connection within a plumbing system.

UPVC Ball Valves

UPVC ball valves control the flow of fluids within a pipe system. They consist of a hollow ball with a hole in the centre and a handle for operation. By rotating the handle, the ball valve can be opened or closed, allowing or stopping the flow of fluid. These valves are durable, reliable, and resistant to chemicals, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.

UPVC pipes and fittings are widely used for plumbing. They provide strong, dependable solutions for fluid transport in industries like water supply, drainage, irrigation, and industrial processes. They're known for resisting chemicals and lasting long.
